These are the terms & conditions of Gold Lion Marquees whose registered office is at :

These terms & conditions apply to all equipment, all bookings and services (referred to as “equipment” “bookings” or “services”) provided to any Client (the Client) by the (Company) Gold Lion Marquees and to the exclusion of all other terms and conditions.
Booking and Payment
Any verbal booking made by the Client is provisional until confirmed by receipt of Gold Lion Marquees booking confirmation form duly completed by the Client.
The price and terms for provision of the services is set out in the quotation supplied. A deposit covering part or whole of the provision of services will be required. All invoices are due and payable by cleared funds, 10 working days prior to the date of installation of equipment or provision of service.
The Client will be liable for any loss or damage to equipment hired (other than fair wear and tear). If the Client or an authorised representative is not on site at the time of dismantling to agree any damage incurred, the Client agrees to accept the Company’s statement of damage and charges.
If the Client wishes to cancel or postpone. If the event is cancelled by the Hirer by more than 48 hours and less than 30 days notice then 25% of the total hire charge is payable. Cancellation of less than 48 hours before the installation date and the total full hire charges will be applied.
Services Provided by Gold Lion Marquees
The period of hire is understood to mean the period from the Delivery Date until the Equipment has been dismantled and removed from the Site.
The Price is based on the assumption that the Client provides a firm and level site of turf (or some other material not impervious to stakes and able to absorb rainwater) and is served by a firm access road adjacent to the Site with adequate hard-standing for commercial vehicle, is free from flooding, tree and overhead obstruction. If this is not the case or if the Client wishes Gold Lion Marquees to erect the Equipment in a different position on the Site to the one indicated by the Client at the time of the Quotation and in either event the costs are subsequently increased by reason of increase in labour costs or any other factor, the Company may increase the price appropriately.
The Client Undertakes
To insure all equipment for the period of hire, from the point of handover until the removal of the equipment after the event and for the full replacement value of all equipment. Your insurance must provide cover in respect of accidental loss of or damage to temporary structures and ancillary equipment provided by us for the full period of hire and for the full replacement value.
To confirm numbers attending, timings and any special requests in relation to any booking in writing at least 10 working days prior to commencement of any booking.
To provide an accurate plan of the Site, showing all relevant services including underground services and any apparent obstacles which may affect the erection of the Equipment and the position of the Site in which the Equipment is to be erected and to advise the Company of any alterations in the Site of which it is aware that may take place after the date that the plan is provided. The Client and not the Company will be responsible for any damage to underground cables or pipes.
To ensure that equipment can be erected and dismantled on time. Whilst the Company will endeavour to accommodate extended provision of services, it cannot guarantee to do so and will make additional charges where it does so. The Client shall indemnify the Company in respect of all delays directly or indirectly attributable to him or his representatives or guests.
To comply with all Health and Safety Regulations and other appropriate licensing or statutory regulations.
Not to enter, within 10 metres of the equipment during the period of erection and dismantling and keep all equipment secure and in particular any door in place and fastened when not in use. Not to carry out any repair work on equipment by a third party without notify and agreed by the company. Not to remove any items without the prior written agreement of the Company, in particular any structural components.
To give notice or obtain all necessary permits from any authorities who are, or may be concerned and must make applications where necessary to the Planning Authority, Council, Police, Fire Brigade and any other appropriate organisation. Any costs incurred in delays or modifications in the work arising from the absence or misrepresentation of all such permissions shall be payable to the Company by the Client and shall be deemed to be part of the charges.
To obtain prior written approval before affixing items to walls, floors, ceilings or furniture or to use any lighting, heating, cooking or other gas or electrical appliances of any kind without the previous written consent of the Company. The cost of repairing any damage caused to equipment, its contents or its grounds by the Client or its guests will be charged to the Client.
Liability
The Company accept no responsibility for direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage to property occurring to the Client or any of its guests. In particular, the Company does not accept responsibility for loss or damage to the property and vehicles of the Client, or visiting guests however caused.
Cancellation or Exclusion by Gold Lion Marquees
If Gold Lion Marquees are unable to fulfil the booking for any cause it may offer alternative facilities to the Client.
Force Majeure
Gold Lion Marquees shall have no liability in respect of any delay or failure in performing any obligations to the Client due to any cause whatever nature outside the reasonable control of Gold Lion Marquee or its suppliers.
Gold Lion Marquees will promptly notify the Client of the occurrence of such an event of force majeure and the obligations of Gold Lion Marquees will be suspended for the duration of such force majeure event.
Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with Australian law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts in Australia.
